2000 baby Sea Buckthorn sleeping under the snow…

bigstock-The-branches-of-sea-buckthorn--27211061Well, it is still the middle of winter here in Québec, but it is already time to start thinking about the 2013 Sea Buckthorn growing season.  Mont Echo will launch its new product lines in a couple of weeks (check the website, www.mont-echo.com, frequently for updates and information on the new products, including the new line of Hair Care Products!), and whenever we do something new with Sea Buckthorn we are reminded of where it all begins – the trees.  We have 2000 new baby trees sleeping under the snow, and these will be planted on our 3 adjacent family farms in the spring.  There is still a lot to do before planting, but it is worth it.  Perhaps you will have an opportunity to meet these new additions to our Sea Buckthorn family at this year’s Harvest Festival in August.  In the mean time, I will continue to give updates on what we are doing on the farms as I also discuss other activities involving Sea Buckthorn.  I look forward to sharing more on our growing practices, transformation and processing, our move to our new 5000 sq ft facility and some of our product development concepts.
