Until recently Sea Buckthorn has remained relatively unknown in North America—but that’s slowly changing! In 2010, Sea Buckthorn was featured on prominent television shows, including Dr Oz and The Doctors, and articles about this amazingly nutritious little berry appeared in newspapers and magazines around the world, including many of our own Canadian newspapers, such as the Montreal Gazette, the Edmonton Journal, the Windsor Star, and the Regina Leader Post.
And Sea Buckthorn seems to be on everyone’s minds for 2011! Though it’s only mid-January, there have already been a few interesting articles and stories about Sea Buckthorn in the press. In fact, it’s being called one of the top new superfoods of 2011 and is #4 on the Globe and Mail’s list of the top 10 food trends for 2011. Want to know more? Check out these interesting links!
